It's been quite a wet week actually but i'm not complaining-heat is not so brilliant when you work in an oversized greenhouse...in fact i was going to let you in on this part of my life this week as at this time of year it does tend to take over a bit! For those of you that don't know i work as part of a display and marketing team at a large Garden Centre 2 days a week and i'm slightly obsessed with my job, i am confident in saying that my collegues think i'm quite mad and often think i'll sleep there if i don't finish a project before i have to go home but i think thats more my obsessive personality rather than the workaholic in me! So as far as customers are concerned you shouldn't be suprised to see Christmas appearing any later than September...i am no stranger to encouraging comments such as "Oh no not Christmas already" or "Is it really necessary to start Christmas so early?" Like i have single handedly decided to start unpacking Santas and fake snow because i felt like it! So to all of you that regularly abuse shop staff, we are human and often do not have a choice in such matters so there's no point in making us feel sad. Sorry i will stop ranting now and wish you all a very Happy Christmas! Anyway as i was saying i do love my job and at this time of year i get to go mad designing magical windows and the Grotto (something i've taken very seriously this year.) I've spent the last week in the front doorway and will post some photos up tomorrow when i've finished it, if i haven't bored you to death already.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you that didn't make any dirty comments about my giraffe last week-it was afterall a trial and i know it looked slightly dodgey but really!?!
